Kristi M. Mobray, MS,LAC
Licensed Associate Counselor
I believe counseling is a client centered tool. It's a method of knowledge and empowerment to assist those in need of finding their light, voice and direction to reach their future goals. A path for clients to find understanding within their own competencies, strengths and abilities and way to view additional or alternative perspectives.
Counseling is not a one size fits all method; it is a means of adaptation to fit the needs of each individual where they are. Counseling comes in many shapes and forms. It requires flexibility, patience, empathy and understanding. As a counselor I must also be self-aware, genuine and have the ability to accept others as they are. I strive to foster a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental atmosphere where individuals from all walks of life can gain the ability to grow, learn and incorporate positive change.
