Natori Walters, MA, LPC
Therapist
Hello — I’m Natori, and I provide therapy to adolescents, college-age students, and young adults both in person at our Bolingbrook office and through online/virtual therapy across Illinois. I have a particular interest in supporting college students as they navigate academic stress, identity development, independence, and the emotional challenges that often arise during this important stage of life.
I believe therapy should feel supportive, engaging, and empowering. This is especially true for young people who may be entering therapy for the first time or trying to make sense of big changes in their lives.

My Approach to Therapy
When you begin therapy with me — whether in person or through online therapy — my goal is to create a space that feels safe, encouraging, and approachable. I understand that adolescents and young adults often face pressure from many directions. And it’s not always easy to put emotions into words or know where to begin.
My approach is collaborative and strengths based. I work to meet each client where they are developmentally and emotionally, using language and strategies that feel accessible and relevant. Therapy with me is not about judgment or fixing — it’s about understanding, growth, and building skills that support emotional well-being.
I strive to make therapy a place where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to build confidence in themselves and their abilities.
Who I Work With
Many of the youth and young adults I support come to therapy feeling:
- Overwhelmed by school, relationships, or expectations
- Anxious, discouraged, or unsure of themselves
- Struggling to focus, regulate emotions, or feel understood
- Navigating changes related to identity, independence, or life transitions
I have experience working with neurodivergent clients, including individuals with ADHD and autism. It is my goal to tailor therapy to honor each person’s unique strengths, communication style, and needs.
Furthermore, I especially enjoy working with college-age students who are navigating the transition into greater independence. This stage of life can bring increased pressure related to academics, relationships, identity, and future planning — often alongside anxiety, self-doubt, or burnout. Therapy can be a supportive space to build coping skills, confidence, and clarity during this period of growth.
Clinical Focus & Areas of Support
My areas of focus include:
- Anxiety and stress management
- ADHD and executive functioning challenges
- Autism spectrum support
- Adjustment disorders and life transitions
- Depression and mood concerns
- Self-esteem and confidence building
I take a supportive, developmentally informed approach that helps clients build emotional awareness, coping skills, and self-confidence in a way that feels manageable and affirming.
In-Person & Online Therapy
I provide in-person therapy in Bolingbrook and virtual therapy across Illinois, offering flexibility for adolescents, college students, and young adults with busy schedules. As a virtual therapist, I work to ensure online therapy feels engaging, comfortable, and connected — an option that can be especially helpful during the academic year or transitional periods.
Whether sessions take place in person or online, my focus is always on creating a consistent, supportive therapeutic relationship.
My Philosophy
I believe adolescents and young adults thrive when they feel supported, understood, and encouraged to be themselves. Therapy is a space to build insight, confidence, and skills that support emotional growth — not just for today, but for the future.
If you’re looking for a therapist in Bolingbrook or a virtual therapist in Illinois who works thoughtfully with adolescents, college students, and young adults navigating anxiety, neurodivergence, and self-esteem concerns, I would be honored to support you.
You don’t have to have everything figured out — therapy can be a place to grow, learn, and feel supported along the way.
