Therapist Brainspotting
Hello — I’m Kristi Mobray, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) providing online/ virtual therapy to clients across Arizona, with a particular focus on individuals living in and around Tucson. I work with adolescents, college-age students, and adults navigating trauma, neurodivergent concerns, anxiety, depression, and complex emotional patterns.
I bring over 20 years of experience working in school settings, which has shaped my understanding of development, identity, stress, and the long-term impact of emotional experiences. Today, I integrate that background with specialized therapeutic training to support clients through meaningful, lasting change.

My Approach to Therapy
When you begin therapy with me — through online therapy — my priority is creating a space that feels safe, attuned, and collaborative. I believe therapy should honor both your lived experiences and your nervous system’s responses to those experiences.
My approach is trauma-informed and relational. I work with clients to understand how past and present experiences influence emotional regulation, relationships, and self-perception. Therapy with me is paced intentionally and guided by your goals, comfort level, and readiness for change.
Clients often describe our work together as grounding, insightful, and deeply validating.
Brainspotting & Trauma-Informed Care
One of the primary approaches I use is Brainspotting, a powerful, evidence-informed modality that supports trauma processing and emotional regulation by working directly with the brain and nervous system.
Brainspotting can be especially helpful for:
- Trauma and complex trauma
- Anxiety and emotional overwhelm
- Neurodivergent clients who may struggle with traditional talk therapy • Clients who feel “stuck” despite insight or prior therapy experiences
I approach Brainspotting with care, preparation, and collaboration, ensuring that clients feel supported and empowered throughout the process.
Who I Work With
Many of the clients I support come to therapy feeling:
- Overwhelmed by stress, expectations, or internal pressure
- Disconnected from themselves or others
- Impacted by past trauma or ongoing emotional challenges
- Unsure how to navigate transitions, relationships, or identity
I have a strong interest in working with college-age students, especially those adjusting to independence, academic demands, and identity development. This stage of life can bring both opportunity and pressure, and therapy can be a valuable space to build coping skills, clarity, and emotional resilience.
Clinical Focus & Areas of Support
My areas of focus include:
- Trauma and trauma recovery
- Brainspotting therapy
- Neurodivergent concerns
- Anxiety and depression
- Personality disorders and relational patterns
- Life transitions, especially for young adults and college students
I tailor therapy to each individual, recognizing that healing is not linear and that different approaches resonate differently for each person.
Online Therapy for Arizona & Tucson
I provide secure online therapy for clients across Arizona, including those living in Tucson. Virtual therapy allows flexibility and accessibility while maintaining depth and connection. As a virtual therapist, I work intentionally to ensure sessions feel grounded, focused, and relational — not distant or impersonal.
Online therapy can be especially helpful for college students, busy adults, and those who prefer engaging in therapy from the comfort of their own space.
My Philosophy
I believe healing happens when people feel understood, supported, and empowered to engage with their experiences at a pace that feels right. Therapy is not about fixing what’s “wrong” — it’s about strengthening awareness, regulation, and connection.
If you’re looking for a virtual therapist in Arizona — particularly in the Tucson area — who offers trauma-informed care, Brainspotting, and thoughtful support for college-age students and adults, I would be honored to work with you.
You don’t have to navigate this alone — therapy can be a place for clarity, healing, and meaningful growth.
