Jordan Frees, MSW, LSW
Therapist
Hello — I’m Jordan Frees, a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). I provide therapy in person at our Glen Ellyn office and through online/virtual therapy across Illinois.
I work with younger clients and adults from all walks of life, with a special interest in supporting older adults. For me, therapy can be a space where you feel heard and understood while building confidence and a deeper sense of pride in who you are. My role is to support and guide you as you move toward the life you want to create.

My Approach to Therapy
I recognize that challenges and growth often exist side by side. I approach each client with a balance of practical thinking and emotional insight, helping people make sense of experiences that may feel overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to put into words.
It is important to me to meet each client where they are in their own process. Sessions are guided by what feels most important to you, allowing space to talk, reflect, and explore at a pace that feels comfortable and natural. Rather than taking a rigid or overly structured approach, I focus on creating conversations that feel collaborative and meaningful.
Together, we work to recognize patterns, increase self-awareness, and create lasting change in ways that feel realistic and authentic to your life. I incorporate psycho-education to help clients better understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also integrating mindfulness, emotional awareness, and a growth-oriented perspective into our work together.
Who I Work With
Although my background includes working with younger clients with emotional disabilities, I also connect well with adults in different stages of life. A special interest is supporting older adults. I welcome individuals seeking a supportive space to better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, navigate transitions, or process difficult emotions and experiences.
I value authenticity and connection in the therapeutic relationship and strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable being honest, exploring emotions, and gaining clarity about themselves and their experiences.
Clinical Focus & Areas of Support
My clinical areas of focus include:
- Anxiety and stress-related concerns
- ADHD support
- Emotional regulation
- Self-esteem and identity development

In-Person & Online Therapy
I provide in-person therapy in Glen Ellyn and virtual therapy throughout Illinois, offering flexibility and accessibility for clients with busy schedules, changing needs, or distance considerations.
Whether meeting in person or online, I aim to provide a warm, welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable showing up as yourself without pressure or expectations.
My Philosophy
Healing is not about becoming someone new, but reconnecting with yourself. I believe growth comes from greater self-understanding, emotional awareness, and feeling genuinely supported through life’s challenges and transitions.
Therapy should be a space where you can slow down, reflect honestly on your experiences, and better understand the patterns, emotions, and relationships that shape your life. My goal is to help you build confidence, strengthen your connection with yourself, and create meaningful change in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.
No matter where you are in life, you deserve support, understanding, and a space to explore who you are and who you want to become
