Jim Fash, BA, MA

Hello — I’m Jim Fash, the Practice Manager at Fash Counseling, and I oversee all billing related operations for the practice. I serve as the primary point of contact for both clients and therapists regarding billing questions, insurance concerns, account updates, and payment related support. 

My role is to ensure that the administrative and financial side of your care is handled clearly, accurately, and with respect. I understand that billing questions can feel stressful or confusing. My goal is to make this process as straightforward and transparent as possible so clients can stay focused on their therapeutic work. 

What I Do at Fash Counseling 

At Fash Counseling, I: 

• Oversee daily operations and billing procedures 
• Manage all insurance-related and billing inquiries 
• Support clinicians with billing questions and account coordination 
• Help implement growth strategies that prioritize client satisfaction and align with our practice values 

I work closely with our leadership and clinical teams to ensure systems run smoothly behind the scenes, allowing therapists to focus on providing high-quality care.

My Background 

Before joining Fash Counseling, I spent over 20 years working in education, where I developed a strong foundation in organization, communication, and service. That background continues to shape how I approach my work today — with patience, attention to detail, and a commitment to problem-solving. 

I am a former Bolingbrook resident and now live in my hometown of Glen Ellyn, and Arizona has become a meaningful “home away from home” as our practice has expanded. 

Fash Counseling is a family-run practice, and I’m proud to work alongside my wife, Jenna, to support a practice rooted in care, integrity, and community. 

My Philosophy 

I believe that strong operations and clear communication are essential to a positive client experience. While therapy happens in the session, trust is built through consistency, responsiveness, and integrity at every point of contact. My role is to support that trust by ensuring billing and operational systems work as they should.
