Jeanette Garza, MA LCPC
Therapist & Marketing Coordinator
Hello — I’m Jeanette Garza, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LCPC) providing therapy in person at our Glen Ellyn office and through online/virtual therapy across Illinois. I work with older teens, young adults, adults, and families who are navigating intense emotions, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, communication challenges, and relationship stress.
My approach focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being vulnerable, expressing their truths, and building the confidence needed to face life’s challenges. I believe therapy should be both compassionate and practical — a place where clients can process difficult emotions while also developing tools they can use in daily life.

My Approach to Therapy
I believe the foundation of effective therapy is a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by intense emotions, painful experiences, relationship stress, or patterns that feel difficult to manage on their own. My goal is to meet clients with warmth, respect, and curiosity while helping them move toward greater emotional resilience and self-assurance.
My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, which means I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship while helping clients recognize and use their existing strengths. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Whether you are looking to explore solutions, develop coping skills, process challenging emotions, or work through difficult events, I adapt therapy to your needs and goals.
