Ashley Ciciora, MA, LCPC, LPC

Clinical Director, Therapist and Divorce Mediator

Hello — I’m Ashley Ciciora, and I’m honored to serve as the Clinical Director at Fash Counseling while also providing counseling services primarily out of our Bolingbrook office. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona, and I work with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and adults through both in-person therapy and online/virtual therapy.

In my role as Clinical Director, I support the clinical vision and quality of care across all three of our practice locations — Bolingbrook, Glen Ellyn, and Arizona — while maintaining an active therapy caseload. I collaborate closely with our clinicians to foster a thoughtful, ethical, and supportive clinical culture grounded in evidence-based practice and genuine human connection.

My Approach to Therapy

When you begin therapy with me — whether in person in Bolingbrook or through online therapy across Illinois or Arizona — my priority is creating a space that feels safe, collaborative, and respectful. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel truly understood, not rushed or judged.

My approach to therapy is relational and practical. Together, we explore how your experiences, relationships, and patterns have shaped your current challenges, while also identifying your strengths and goals. Therapy with me is active and collaborative, focused on helping you build insight, emotional awareness, and coping strategies you can realistically apply in daily life.

Clients often describe our work together as grounding, clarifying, and empowering — a process that helps them feel more connected to themselves and more confident navigating life’s challenges.

Who I Work With

Clients often come to therapy with me when they are:

  • Feeling overwhelmed or emotionally stuck
  • Struggling with anxiety, stress, or mood changes
  • Wanting to improve communication or relationship patterns
  • Seeking greater self-understanding and emotional balance

I work with individuals who are ready to explore their experiences with curiosity and compassion, whether they are addressing long-standing concerns or navigating recent changes.

Clinical Experience & Areas of Focus

I bring over ten years of professional experience to my clinical and leadership roles. My background includes outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, residential treatment, and work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. This breadth of experience allows me to adapt my approach to meet each client’s unique needs.

I integrate a range of evidence-based and relational approaches, including: • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT)
  • Client-Centered Therapy
  • Mindfulness-Based Approaches

Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor therapy to the individual — honoring personal values, cultural context, and readiness for change.

In-Person & Online Therapy

I offer in-person therapy in Bolingbrook as well as secure online therapy for clients across Illinois and Arizona. As a virtual therapist, I strive to make online sessions feel just as supportive and connected as in-office work. Virtual therapy allows flexibility and accessibility while maintaining depth, trust, and meaningful progress.

Whether we meet in person or online, my goal is to create a therapeutic experience that feels consistent, intentional, and responsive to your needs.

My Role as Clinical Director

As Clinical Director, I oversee and support the clinical work of our practice across all locations.  My responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and mentoring clinicians at various stages of development • Providing clinical consultation for complex cases
  • Overseeing supervision structures and standards
  • Supporting ethical decision-making and clinical quality
  • Helping shape policies and practices that support both clients and clinicians

This role allows me to balance individual therapeutic work with broader leadership efforts to ensure that care at Fash Counseling remains thoughtful, ethical, and grounded in best practices.

My Philosophy

I believe therapy is not about fixing people — it’s about helping individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change. Healing happens in relationship, and progress looks different for everyone. My role as a therapist and clinical leader is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and respect.

Whether you’re seeking therapy in Bolingbrook or connecting with me as a virtual therapist in Illinois or Arizona, I’m here to support your growth at a pace that feels right for you.

If you’re considering therapy, I welcome the opportunity to work with you and support you in this next step.
