Building meaningful connections between Fash Counseling and the communities we serve! 

Hello — I’m Amaney Sheikah, the Marketing & Community Outreach Coordinator at Fash  Counseling. My role is centered around building meaningful relationships within our communities, strengthening referral partnerships, and helping more individuals and families connect with the mental health resources and services available at Fash Counseling. 

Connecting Fash Counseling With Our Communities 

A large part of my work happens outside the walls of our practice. I connect with schools, healthcare providers, community organizations, local businesses, and other professionals to develop relationships and partnerships that help make mental health resources more visible and accessible. 

I also support Fash Counseling’s broader marketing efforts by helping share our services,  resources, educational opportunities, and mission with the communities we serve. My goal is for people to not only know who Fash Counseling is, but to understand how we can be a trusted resource for individuals, families, and professionals throughout the community. 

My Background

My background is in marketing, social media, and community outreach. Throughout my experience, I’ve had the opportunity to create digital content, support marketing campaigns,  coordinate outreach initiatives, and develop relationships with community partners. 

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Governors State University. My education and professional experience helped me discover how much I enjoy bringing together the creative and relationship-building sides of marketing. 

For me, effective marketing is ultimately about connection—understanding people, building trust, and finding meaningful ways to bring organizations and communities together. 

My Role at Fash Counseling 

At Fash Counseling, my goal is to continue strengthening our presence within the communities we serve while developing lasting relationships with organizations and professionals who share our commitment to supporting individuals and families. 

I especially enjoy being able to represent a practice whose work has a direct impact on the community. Whether I’m developing a new referral relationship, connecting with a local organization, supporting a community event, or helping share information about one of our services, I want our outreach to feel genuine, collaborative, and rooted in the needs of the people we serve. 

Outside of Work 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, soaking in the sunshine whenever I can, and playing games with the people I love.
